I’m Kyle, an artist and illustrator based in Denver.

I’ve been drawing, designing, and making videos in some form or another since I was very young. A compulsion to “make stuff” has been a constant in my life, often regardless of what that “stuff” is. I’m a firm believer that art is for everyone, and that gatekeeping in the art scene does more damage than good. That’s why I started Plank Canvas (a community building DIY reclaimed skateboard group art show), to give artists a reason and a venue in which to create something. Everyone has the ability and desire to be creative, sometimes a little encouragement is all that’s needed.

I spent 10 years working in the public school system as Special Needs Paraprofessional and Summer Camp Counselor where I read tons of children’s books and started writing and illustrating my own.
